Three ushabtis of the "Governor of the Southern Oasis, Nebmehyt" are currently preserved in the RMAH. They were all found during the excavations of Amélineau in 1895-1896 in Abydos.
This limestone example still has its beautiful polychrome decoration. The text of Spell 6 of the Book of the Dead is written in 6 horizontal lines.
