The morphology of this scarab is characteristic for the so-called post-ramassid mass production of the 21th to early 22th dynasty. One of the most beloved themes is the hunting scene, usually with an archer near lions and/or horned animals (caprid, ibex, antelope…). See also E.6629A-6629D.
