This embalmed mummy hand carries on its ring finger a golden ring with a green jasper scarab. The small seal amulet (an heirloom dating from the Middle Kingdom, 12th-13th dynasty) has on its base a decoration consisting of hieroglyphs (“nb nfr ra”, ‘the perfect lord Ra’) in a frame of interlocking spirals.
