This funerary figurine was discovered in the pyramid of King Senkamanisken at Nuri (n° of excavation 1581, 17-2-768). A distinctive feature of many of the ushabtis of the grandson and third successor of Taharqa is the presence of the double uraeus. This symbol of the dominion over Upper and Lower Egypt is combined here with the "nemes" (compare with E. 6097). The ushabti holds a a crook and flail in his crossed hands. The hieroglyphic text inscribed in six horizontal lines includes Spell 6 of the Book of the Dead.
