This funerary figurine was discovered in the pyramid of King Senkamanisken at Nuri (n° of excavation: 1581, 17-2-768). A distinctive feature of many of the ushabtis of the grandson and third successor of Taharqa is the presence of the double uraeus (compare with E. 6097 and E. 6109A). This symbol of the dominion over Upper and Lower Egypt is combined here with the headgear in the form of a sack. The ushabti holds a hoe and a pickaxe in his crossed hands. He carries an elongated sack on his left shoulder. The hieroglyphic text engraved in six horizontal lines contains Spell 6 of the Book of the Dead.
