The base of this seal amulet in the shape of a frog bears hieroglyphs: the horns “wpt” (‘open’) under the solar disk of Ra and below are the signs “nfr” (‘good, beautiful’), “ra” (‘day’) and the palm “rnpt” (‘year’). The inscription refers to the first day of the new year and its festival: “wpt-rnpt”.
