The back of this scarab is decorated with two lotus branches. The base has a composition with a winged solar disk above and an oval with the hieroglyphs “nfr” and “ra” between two uraei wearing the white crown of Upper Egypt. Below, the basket “nb”. The morphology of the scarab point to the Canaanite production contemporary with the end of the Middle Kingdom, ca. 1700-1640.
