The base of this scarab carries the name and title of Bay, ‘supervisor of the seal’ (“imy-r sdjAwt Bay”). His name is written with the figure of the sitting god Chnum (“chnmw” or “bA”) and two reed stalks. The morphology of the seal is characteristic for the Ramessid Period.
