The base of this scarab bears an inscription which forms the name and titles of Kemeni, the overseer of the audience hall / the chamberling (“imy-r ‘chnwty nfr”). The hieroglyph “nfr” below functions as a funerary epithet. The morphology of the scarab points to a date in the 13th dynasty.
