The base of this scarab shows two cartouches with the name of Thutmosis III, “mn-kheper-ra”. One cartouche is horizontally placed above the composition, while the other stands vertically in the middle, flanked by two uraei. It is not exceptional to find the name of this pharaoh, worshipped after his death, on scarabs dating long after his reign. The morphology of the scarab points to a date in the Ramessid Period (19th-20th dynasty).
