The base of this seal amulet in the shape of a hippopotamus shows various hieroglyphs between two “nbw” signs: the sign “nfr”, the solar disk “ra”, the ostrich feather “maat”, the falcon and the sign “ntjr”. This point to a Canaanite production and a date ca. 1700-1640.
