The base of this seal amulet bears an inscription with the name and title of the owner: “imy-kht n pr-Hdj n […] Nsw-Mntjw kA nfr wAH”, ‘he who follows (bodyguard?) in the treasury of […], Nesu-Montu, that his perfect soul may continue to exist’. Originally this object represented a naked, seated child holding a finger to his mouth.
