The ushabti of the priest Menkheperre, which dates from the end of the 18th Dynasty, contains almost no details. The long three-piece wig is represented only by outlines and volume, but the locks of hair are not defined. Only the position of the hands, which can only be distinguished with difficulty, indicates that the arms are crossed over the chest. The deeply incised hieroglyphs are placed in eight horizontal lines and in two small vertical columns. They still bear traces of blue-green paint. The dividing lines are painted red. The text is taken from Spell 6 of the Book of the Dead.
