This square model depicts a scene of the counting of grain. There are several workmen working in the forecourt, and a man and two women sitting on the roof of a granary. The grain was usually brought into the granary through a hole in the roof, an opening which is not visible in our model. To get the grain out, they used three openings - simply painted here - that lead to the court.
